Like the landscape of Nebraska - flat.
No favorite even.
Really! Sometimes I find our non-connection on headline humor almost shocking and disturbing! There were some in that batch I thought were quite clever. Any where you were thinking "I don't get it"?
1. Mildly amusing
2. Possibly the best for irony.
3. Wording not quite right
4. Possibly the closest to a laugh.
5. Good reference - except they were magpies

7. Never quite gets there.
8. One of those ones that is filled with justified outrage, but just isn't that funny - like most Bush jokes.

Wow-quite the rundown. I would have said that 6 was NOT all that clever and probably my least favorite of the entire bunch. The spanish one was really more of a reference to those ridiculous spanish explorers that used to march across the western US in full armor in search of god-knows-what.
